Hey Northflow community, we’re back with another bi-weekly update, and this one is all about walking you through how Northflow works, end to end. If you’ve been curious what it really looks like to run your podcast production inside Northflow, this is the one to tune into.

We’ll cover what the full workflow looks like, what’s new, and what’s coming soon. Let’s go.

What it looks like to actually use Northflow

When you log in, you land right in your Production View—a quick snapshot of what’s in progress across all your shows. Whether you’re managing one show or ten, you’ll see every episode, who’s working on what, and how close you are to hitting publish.

From there, it’s easy to drill into one show at a time. Each show has its own workspace, where you can manage:

  • Episodes (with your own custom stages)

  • Tasks (Kanban-style boards, timelines, or list views)

  • Assets (everything from raw files to final promos)

  • Forms (intake forms, guest requests, content submissions)

  • Calendar View (see upcoming deadlines and publish dates at a glance)

And we’ve got Projects coming soon for all the extra content work that’s not episode-specific.

Let’s talk features

Here’s a quick recap of the features we walked through on this week’s call:

Templates

Save time by turning your ideal episode workflow into a reusable template. Each template includes stages, tasks, due date logic, and team assignments. It’s a favorite among podcast agencies juggling multiple shows.

Task Management

Tasks live inside episodes and can be viewed however works best for your team: Kanban, list, or timeline. You can assign tasks, drop in comments, and get notified when things are done (or overdue).

Guest Collaboration (without login!)

Want to collect a guest’s headshot, bio, links, or even show notes? Assign them a task and they’ll get a private link where they can submit files and add comments—no login required.

Asset Management

No more digging through Google Drive or Slack threads. Keep all your files organized inside the episode card itself, or link to existing files wherever they live.

Calendar View

Want to know what’s going live next week? See your schedule at a glance with Northflow’s calendar view. You can drag and drop to reschedule episodes and spot any bottlenecks in advance.

Forms (Now Live!)

You can now create fully custom forms inside Northflow to collect:

  • Guest submissions

  • Client episode requests

  • Listener feedback

Form submissions automatically trigger new episode cards, so you don’t have to do the manual work. They’re already live, and teams are loving them.

Projects (Coming Soon)

We know not everything you do fits inside a single episode. Projects will give you a place to track launches, series planning, and big-picture initiatives right inside Northflow.

Why this matters

If your current process involves spreadsheets, Trello, Google Forms, Typeform, and email back-and-forth, it’s probably time for something simpler. Northflow replaces that messy stack with one connected system.

You don’t have to switch back and forth just to see what’s going on. Your team can collaborate in real time. And your episodes can move forward without you having to chase updates.

We’re building this with you and for you—and right now is the best time to join. Our founding member opportunity is wrapping up soon, and access to Northflow will move to a paid plan. If you’ve been waiting to give it a try, now’s the moment.
